Capital One Announces Quarterly Dividend
Capital One Financial Corporation today announced a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share payable August 20, 2010 to stockholders of record as of August 11, 2010. The company has announced dividends every quarter since it became an independent company on February 28, 1995. Dividends declared by the company are eligible for direct reinvestment in the company's common stock under its Dividend Reinvestment and Stock Purchase Plan.

Capital One lowered the APR for its Venture One Rewards card
Capital One lowered the APR for its Venture One Rewards card from 15.9 percent to 13.9 percent. Cap One didn't respond to a request for comment on what prompted the change.
